Kenya Explorer Safari {8 Days / 7 Nights}

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, where you will be met and transfered to the city centre for overnight.
Day 2: Aberdare National Park: Early breakfast, then drive north towards the slopes of Aberdare arriving at Aberdare country Club / Out Span hotel (your base hotel) in time for lunch. Afternoon transfer to Ark / Treetop - a tree hotel for an afternoon tea, later dinner and overnight game viewing at the natural salt lick and flood-lit water hole. There is an underground photograph hide', which gives you a unsurpassed view of big wild game at very close quarters.KINDLY NOTE: Owing to the limited size of the cabins, only a small overnight bag is permitted in the tree hotels. The rest of the luggage is safely left at the base hotel to be retrieved the following morning. Children under the age of 7 year are not permitted in the tree hotels. The Ark / Treetops [Full Board].
Day 3: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary: After breakfast depart for Nanyuki to arrive at Sweetwaters on the slopes of Mount Kenya in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive including a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the luxurious Sweetwaters Tented Camp. [Full Board]
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park (Flamingos): Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with weather permitting, panoramic views of the Africa's Great Rift Valley 600m below. Afternoon game/bird viewing around the Lake Nakuru shores which is a seasonal home to millions of flamingos. Overnight stay in Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve: After breakfast depart for the famed and Kenya finest game reserve - Maasai Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge. Late afternoon game drive before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge / Mara Sopa / Sarova Mara Tented Camp. [Full Board]
Day 6: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve: Full day in the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. This reserve gives your the opportunities to view the big five as well as the plains game. All meals and overnight at your hotel. [Full Board]
Day 7: Return to Nairobi and Depart: After breakfast, leisurely drive back to Nairobi, arriving at around mid-day. Optional farewell Luncheon at the Carnivore Restaurant. Afternoon is spent on a Nairobi city orientation sightseeing tour and shopping. Overnight stay at Nairobi safari Club. [BB]
Day 8: Departure: After breakfast, this would be a good day to explore the city and do last minute shopping, then later transfer to the airport for departure flight. Bon Voyage!
